YARD SERVICE
Group Supported Employment
During Spring, Summer and Fall we provide mowing, leaf clean-up and related services to our customers both commercial and residential. Our well-trained Bristol Adult Resource Center staff work with the clients on yard service crew to improve the abilities to independently complete the tasks needed to meet the professional qualities our customers expect.
Our customer base remains stable, but we add new customers as time slots become available. Our customers appreciate the professional quality of our work and enjoy the interaction with our clients. During the Winter Months
During the winter months our program room is located at St. Paul’s High School. Our programming consists of sewing (quilting, dressmaking), woodworking, card stamping, jewelry making and crafting. We are always willing to take on contractual jobs within the timeframe of the Winter months. Presently we do cutting and preliminary sewing for McNeal Enterprises, Inc. on period paneled skirts. In the past we have contracted for small white picket garden fences, cemetery boxes and produced assorted unfinished craft items to be completed at a nursing home. Presently we are working on a queen size scrap quilt to be raffled off as a fundraiser. In the near future tickets may be purchased on the website. We are stamping all-occasion cards that can be purchased for 6 for $5.00.
