Day Support Options (DSO)Program is located at Bristol Adult Resource Center's satellite site at 390 Lake Ave. in Bristol. The program is open from 8:30am to 4pm Monday through Friday.

A host of opportunities in social, recreational and leisure activities are available at this unique day program. With its magical environment, the multi-sensory room promotes stimulation and relaxation.

Larry’s Park is a recent addition to our program. Located adjacent to the building, the park is completely fenced and secure and offers sensory and horticultural experiences. Here at the park, our participants are given the opportunity to plant and maintain flowers and vegetables and to engage in numerous outdoor events.

Among the activities available at the DSO Program are arts & crafts, computer skills, baking, current events, sign language, table top games, Wii sport and musical games, pet therapy, musical therapy, holiday celebrations, projects and community involvement.

The therapeutic equipment available in the multi-sensory room includes a heated waterbed, a leaf swing, interactive bubble columns, a fiber optic waterfall, a projector, a cloud ceiling, and massaging mats.

Nursing services are also available to clients since there is a nurse on-staff.
